JSyntaxPane on dzone

Greetjan Wielenga posted a very cool entry on dzone here.
It is very cool with nice screenshots and a mini how-to.
Many Thanks Greetjan.

I haven't blogged for a while. I'll try and keep up with writing a bit more than Java Code.

Ayman,
i just searched about transformation of xml into plain-text and vice-versa, BANG! i got this site. good job Ayman.
did you ever tried J2ME and also working by low-level api to handle Arabic text rules?

What do you mean low level Arabic? Isn't Unicode the ne answer to rule them all? ;-)
I am aware of low level Arabic Character sets used in ATM and some proprietary, old, legacy, mainframes and such...

i mean low-level graphic api in j2me such as Canvas,...
in some mobile phones like sony-ericsson high-level APIs render Arabic string correctly list List, Form elements, etc.
but low-level API does not render Arabic text correctly.

emmm, and a new question because of your experiences on mainframes. did you tried Arabic strings on DB2 that runs under zOS? i have problem getting Arabic strings from DB2 by using Java :(
i will be so happy if you share your experiences about as a blog.
thanks
